Thoughts On Gratitude

Thoughts On Gratitude

November is the time where thoughts of what we’re thankful for begin to culminate. It’s a time when we can stop and look at how this year has passed, remembering the good and the difficult, and recognizing all that we have. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we wanted to take a moment and write to you about gratitude. This November, we are grateful for:
Our Community

Community is one of the most important pieces of our success. Without our community, both local and international, we would not be inspired to continue to create magical and memorable experiences. We are so grateful for the way the cultures and people of the world have inspired us, not only in our business but who we are as people. The love we receive from our community is what keeps us going. And without the support of our local community, we would not be able to exist.

Our Staff

Our staff is pretty frickin’ awesome. The love and ownership of the people who keep the Solarium running, from housekeeping to management, can be felt in every aspect of our operations. We are so grateful for the beautiful people that care about the Solarium so much; we literally couldn’t do this without you.

Our Guests

Our guests are the lifeblood that keeps the Solarium alive. Every guest that comes through our doors add a little bit more to who we are. From the newlywed couple taking a road-trip honeymoon to the professor who visits multiple times a year from out of state, you shape our identity and help us to continue growing into the business and people we are meant to be.

Our Challenges

With every challenge, a new opportunity presents itself. It is up to us whether we seize it or hold back. This year, like any other, has had its share of challenges. And still, we rise. We are grateful for the challenges that life has put in front of us, and will continue to, so that we can become stronger, wiser, and better.

Our Future

We may not know what the future holds, but if it’s anything like the last few years, it’s going to be an adventure. Here’s to the past, the present, and the future; we’re thankful we get to spend it with you!

We hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Love,

The Solarium International Hostel
